- Neonatal kittens: They require bottle or syringe feeding, close observation, and unexpected vet visits if the kittens become sick.
- Kittens 8 weeks and older: Must be able to transport kittens to vet for vaccine updates and regular checkups. Kittens require a lot of time, love, and attention.
- Social adult cats: Cats that are ready for adoption, but need a loving place to stay until their forever home is found.
- Cats with medical issues: They require extra care which could include administering meds, close observation, and regular vet visits.
- Cats needing socialization: Shy cats and kittens who need help learning how to trust humans.
- Provide safe, clean, warm, indoor-only home for your foster cat(s).
- Provide love, care, and socialization to the cats/kittens in your care.
- Provide litter/food. We can provide food/litter when it is donated or in special circumstances.
- Be able to transport cats/kittens to our approved vet.
- Be able to take photos/videos for social media posting at least once weekly to help us promote your foster and help them get adopted.
- Be available for meet n greets (virtual, in-home, or off-site).
Purrty Pawz Rescue Responsibilities:
- Pay medical bills and supply all necessary medication.
- Advertise the foster cat for adoption and provide adoption screenings.
We may not always be in need of foster homes. But if your application is approved, we'll keep it on hand and reach out next time we have a cat meeting your criteria.
