“Community Cats” is a term used to describe outdoor, unowned, free-roaming cats. These cats can be friendly, feral, adults, kittens, altered and/or unaltered. They may or may not have a caretaker. A caretaker is a person who feeds them, conducts TNVR, and provides shelter when possible. In our case, we're the caretakers for over 100 cats in our community. Each one has a background and a story. Some of them are dumped pets. Others were born on the streets and know no other life. Some have faced abuse at the hands of humans or have been preyed upon by predators. Regardless of where they come from, what medical issues they might have, or how friendly or feral they are, we do our very best to provide care for these cats and give them the best lives possible. Many of them live at compromised colonies where they face danger from cars, humans, or predators. So when we have the resources, we pull them off the streets and place them into indoor homes or barns depending on their comfortability with humans.
Here are some of the sweet faces we serve every day. Please help us help them by sending monetary donations or much needed items from our wish lists.
